This basilica was built in 1577, but only 84 years later it was finished. It was really worth the wait because it's an incredible construction. It can be considered one of the oldest cathedrals in America and because of its great historical, architectural and cultural value, in 1995 the cathedral was declared a national monument.
Inside, the cathedral is divided into three naves separated by admirable columns that support this construction. Currently it's being restored and no possible opening date is known.
